CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
The purpose of the Cancellation and Refund policy is to clearly outline the framework and responsibilities of both partoes in the eventuality that the sessions are cancelled, not attended or either party is late in attending them. We recognise that such incidents can lead to disruptions and inconvenience to both parties if sufficient notice is not given. As unforeseeable circumstances do arise in life, flexibility has been incorporated into the policy to account for this.
Cancellation of sessions by Growth Mindset Education
The session may be cancelled with 24 hours prior notice to the student and no pre-paid fees will be refunded. In such cases, the session will be rescheduled in agreement with the student/parent/guardian.

If the session is cancelled by Growth Mindset Education with less than 24 hours’ notice, the student can request a refund for that lesson if pre-paid with the exception of advance block bookings that are at a special discounted rate.

No shows/ cancellation of sessions by the student/ parent / guardian
The student/parent/guardian may cancel the session by giving at least 24 hours prior notice to Growth Mindset Education in which case no tuition fees will be incurred. Sessions not attended by the student without giving 24 hours prior notice shall be charged at the full rate.

If lessons are pre-paid, and the tutoring agreement assumes that the Student will attend all lessons as stipulated in the schedule, then no discount or refunds shall be given in respect of lessons not attended by the Student.
Late Attendance
Fees are calculated on an hourly basis by Growth Mindset Education. Sessions will start at their scheduled time. However, in the case that a student arrives late for lessons, no adjustment to fees shall be made for time lost. Student lateness in excess of 15 minutes will result in a cancelled lesson and no refunds will be made.

In the case of late arrival by Growth Mindset Education, the Student shall be compensated by a lesson extension until the lost time is accounted for. This time shall be added to the lesson in question or carried over to the next lesson, as agreed in advance by both parties.
